Siemers Holsteins Acquires Sandy-Valley Farms
Siemers Holstein Farm, Inc of Newton, Wisconsin has announced the purchase of Sandy-Valley Farms of Scandinavia, Wisconsin. Sandy-Valley is a third-generation dairy farm that was founded in 1963 by the Bauer family. Specializing in breeding animals of the moste elite genetic standards, Sandy-Valley has made an outsanding name for themselves aroudn the globe. Sany-Valley is a highly reputable name in the industry and was build with core values similar to those of Siemers Holsteins. Siemers plan to build on and contiue their success, and are excited to welcome their new team members.

New Regulations for Embryo Export to the European Union
New regulations are now in place for exporting embryos from the United States to the European Union. Going forward, IVF embryos being exported from the United States to the European Union MUST be made with EU qualified semen. Please note, that IVF embryos frozen BEFORE April 20, 2021 are unaffected by these new regulations. There have been no changes regarding conventionally collected embryos and their eligibility for export from the United States to the EU. If you have questions regarding these new regulations, please contact your ET practitioner.
